About the Artist
The Art of Photography for me is both a meditative and spiritual experience. I shoot without expectation or forced intention, but instead try to employ a calm awareness and spontaneous intuition. It is a practice of being completely in the moment and experiencing the essence of life.
Will Michael began shooting, processing and printing black and white film in 1978, at the age of 12, under the expert tutelage of Robert Shotton. While in high school he started doing promotional photography for local working bands as well as working as a contributing photographer for Tempo Magazine of NEPA. He's won various awards including the Kodak Medallion of Excellence while still a senior in high school. After a brief hiatus as a professional musician, Will returned to photography and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Photography from Marywood University in 2005. His work has been exhibited in Art galleries and hangs in many private collections across the United States and recently Sweden.
Will continues to work as a full-time, professional photographer specializing in Wedding, Portrait and Fine Art Photography.
