ARTSPACE GOES PUBLIC - You asked... We delivered!

Many artists in our community have wanted to hang at ARTSPACE gallery, but did not want to be involved with the duties and responsibilities that come with being a member of a coop gallery. Pocono Arts is responding by converting ARTSPACE formally a coop gallery to a Public Fine Art Gallery run by the arts council.

Richard Spezzano a former director of ARTSPACE will be spearheading the change. ARTSPACE will now establish separate wall spaces where each artist can exhibit their work in groups the way it is meant to be seen. Artist may choose to just hang their art and do nothing more, or volunteer to staff the gallery four hours per month on weekends for a lesser fee. Previously ARTSPACE members were charged 25% - 30% commission on works sold. The new ARTSPACE will charge only 15% leaving more profit to the artist. This is open to all art including 3D, jewelry and fine crafts. Spaces are limited so act early.
